easter bread



Mom and I made Easter bread yesterday, two golden loaves. They are most delicious. They required two sticks of butter (oh heaven).







Coffee--not for the bread, for the bakers. :)





Little over an hour later....











I think we've already downed one loaf.

  1. Yum!!! And, how pretty! Is it sweet? Don't think I have ever had Easter bread before...

    1. It's not very sweet, but it has a sweet bread texture. There is orange zest, sugar, and anise extract in it, so there's a hint of sweet. Kind of like panetone without the dried fruit.
