Using my camera again felt so wonderful. That same feeling you get when you finally get to sit down and read a good book after not having read fiction in several months. I got up relatively early last Tuesday and went to the botanical gardens around 11am to help my friend photograph a proposal.
The day started out foggy and gray, but in a calm, lovely sort of way.
These shots aren't anything original or interesting, but just having my camera back in my hands was pretty great. I wish it wasn't so dang heavy and cumbersome, or I would lug it to school and shopping and everywhere.
I leave for my trip on June 8th, and I hope to buy a point-and-shoot worth having by then. Fingers crossed that I can scrounge up enough money for all my gear. Sigh! So much to do! Perhaps I will be back before long with an update.

Oh I love, love, love these. I know you don't think they're original or interesting but I love them, especially the 7th from the bottom!
