I started French I a few days ago! I can now say Je suis m'appelle Caroline! Je suis de America. Which means "My name is Caroline. I'm from America. :D But I can also ask you what time it is: Quelle heure est-il? And even courteously answer myself: Il est trois heures. And then I can thank myself. But I think most people can thank in French. Merci.
On a more randomish note, "thank" is a very odd word. Once you say it a few times.
I don't really know that French is a terribly sensible language to learn - I'm sure most people would have told me to take Spanish, but I don't particularly like Spanish and my only other choices were French and Latin. Having already taken some Latin and knowing how hard it can really and truly be, I sort of... opted for French. *shrug* Who knows, maybe there is some great reason for learning French that I will some day appreciate. Such as accidentally becoming stranded in Paris. Or something. I really want to learn Japanese, not a romantic language. But I suppose Japanese is even less practical than French.
Regardless. I rather feel like a proper young lady from the days of old...

The daffodils are blooming. How sweet are these? I love them, they are miniature, wildish daffodils.

This is Pepper. She's silly.

The Bradford pears are budding! :D That is exciting.

And yay for Netflix. Despite the fact that we finished the first two seasons of Heroes (the second season really fuh-lopped) and now are at a bit of a loss. Well, sort of. :D We always find something. If you have suggestions, though, do share!
I have more pics to post... I will get to this later?
Au revoir!
Bonjour Caroline! Comment ca va? Love the new pictures. Good luck with the French. I took 7 years of it and spent a week in France. This makes me fluent, har har. But if you need someone to practice butchering it with, I'm your girl.
